The trezzota community of Mar del Plata

To Mar del Plata exists an emigrated community of Acitrezza’s people who have not forgotten their origins. In fact, every year the 24th June they celebrate S. John Baptist. That community is really devout to the Saint and in their parish, that is situated close to the port of Mar del Plata, there is a statue like this one of Acitrezza, which is taken in procession during the festivity on a wooden construction. The devotion for the saint is still the same even if Acitrezza is thousands of kilometres far away from its sons in Argentina.
